Hi everyone

I hope you enjoy my pages!

I have lots of pictures (my mom's kind of crazy when it comes to taking my picture).

Love, Mokie

Mokie - August 2006

Mokie was supposed to be a cockapoo.  We specifically looked for that breed because our previous dog, Rosie, had been a cockapoo and was the kind, gentle, friendly, and loving.  We wanted one just like that.

Mokie ended up having some sort of Pekingese in him but he has the characteristics we love and a personality of his own so we'll be keeping him!

The pictures below are when Mokie was 7 and 8 weeks old. Big change, huh?

We found Mokie through the internet. The breeder we found lives in California and we were in Washington. This posed a small problem if we got a puppy from her as to how to get him to our house.  Problem solved when the breeder took a trip to Washington and brought Mokie with her. We're really happy he joined our family!

Mokie went to visit his birth mom when he was 1 year old.  Their personalities are very much alike and they both "talk" a lot.  It was fun to see the differences and similarities.

In August 1999, Mokie started having these attacks that we did not recognize.  It turned out that he had the  beginning stages of epilepsy.
