Many of my relatives attended college together. At that
time they didn't know their children would marry and they would all be
related. The 1922, 1925, and 1926 yearbook below belonged to my
Grandmother Atha Stellmon. The 1923 yearbook belonged to Glem
Stellmon. I was surprised to see how many of these people signed my
grandma's yearbook.
Robert Earl Miller ('22, '23, '25)
Gladys Myrtle Miller ('25, '26)
Clarice Jennie Stellmon ('22, '23)
Atha Belle Stellmon ('22, '25, '26)
Glem Stellmon (listed as Glen Stellmon in the yearbook) ('23)
Edith Velma Sweetland ('22, '23)
Vera Veola Sweetland ('22, '23)
Elva Marie Sweetland ('22, '23, '25)
"Merrill" John Merrill Sweetland ('23, '25)
"Uceil" Laura Uceil Sweetland (cousin to Edith,
Vera, Elva, & Merrill) ('25, '26)
Margaret Tullock ('22, '23, '25, '26)

1922, 1923 Montana Wesleyan University had both a 4-year college and
a 4-year academy (high school). The yearbook listed the College kids
and their associations first, then the Academy and their
associations. I will list the explanations of the associations
we had any relatives in and then show the pictures of students in those
organizations.
Sometime during 1923, this school combined with College of
Montana, Bozeman (1882-1923, Presbyterian) to form Intermountain Union
College. This new college also had a college and academy section in
the yearbooks. In 1925, the academy only had Seniors, Juniors, and
Sophomores. The 1926 yearbook doesn't have any academy
students.
As a side note, Intermountain Union College (1923 - 1947)
had buildings damaged by earthquake in 1935. After a brief move to
Great Falls, it relocated to Billings and in 1947 it merged with Billings
Polytechnic Institute to form Rocky Mountain College.
