This page contains some of the things I do for my hobbies.  

When we were in Minnesota (Aug 2006), I went to a Mary Kay facial 
meeting with my new friend Jaklyn.  This is what they did to me that day!
 

 A little later that month I got to ride a horse (named Chance) on the beach at Cannon Beach, Oregon near Haystack Rock.  It was interesting and fun.

•  Children's Village
  This year (Feb 27 2007) I started volunteering one day a week at Children's Village.  It is a great opportunity for me to use my Grandma skills.  

I play with the little and big kids, give them hugs and giggles, hold the babies, or just talk with them.  

This is the very best thing I have done in quite a while.  It helps me feel worthwhile, loved, and like I have something to give back to my neighbors.  

I know I'm helping those kids too.  Each week the kids remember me and ask me to do the same things I did with them before ... push them on the swing, play a board game, read a book, just sit with them .... it's WONDERFUL!

  I love keeping our family website up-to-date.  I have some other websites I work on but this one gets updated all the time with whatever we are working on.

• Kathy made blankets for Project Linus for seven years.   I made a page to tell my personal story about working with Project Linus.
