This video from the 2006 Harvest (Crush) Season was created by 17 year old Blake Hintz, winery helper.  

On some computers, it will use Windows Media Player to show the video.  It is pretty large so if it starts playing, then stops to buffer, that's ok.  It will start playing again.  After it has loaded the whole video, you can start it over and it should play the whole thing.

Some computers use Real Player. It downloads the video first, then plays it.  

It is a pretty large file so if you are using Dial Up, you shouldn't try it.

Our friends, Kim & Jim, are into learning about and tasting all different kinds of wines.  Kim had mentioned she wanted to try a wine she had read about from Coeur d'Alene Cellars.  She had done us a great favor watching Mokie for us so we wanted to buy her some wine.  

We looked up the address and went to find the winery.  It was a cute little winery but only open certain days and times for wine tasting.  We came back during their tasting time.  Bob loved what he tasted so he got some wine for himself along with Kim's.  They gave us a tour of the winery.

When we got home, Bob looked them up on their website ( http://www.cdacellars.com ).  We found out they had a wine club and for a certain amount of money, club members get 3 bottles of wine every quarter.  We decided that way he could test out several kinds of wine.  It said wine club members can help with the bottling process and crush season.  That really got Bob's attention so we decided to become wine club members.

Since then,  Bob has volunteered in May 2006 with the bottling process and September 2006 for crush.  Each time he gets home from a day of volunteering, he sends out an email to his friends to share what it was like.  They really enjoy hearing from him.  I really enjoy seeing the HUGE smile on his face after he's been helping.
