January 07, 2009 2:04 PM First Update For 2009
After recuperation from a roof raising B-day party yesterday.
The windshield and the cockpit cover were installed. Also all the white
rubber seal/molding has been glued on.
Also, if you look, you will see a VINTAGE SIRA (Seattle Inboard Racing
Association) sticker on the rear cowling, they were supplied by Dick &
Kaye Neeson.
Thank you to all our much appreciated N-22 Honor Role friends.
That is so, so Special... that list is also included with this note.
Shown in the pictures are the Boeing Sticker that Jane & Allen Johnson
donated to our cause, the windshield that Shirley and Dave went down to
pick for us in Seattle, then Jim & Kim delivered the 4' X 4' piece of
Lexan windshield, the cockpit cover that I had sewn last summer, NEW
cowling paint, and the lettering that I had made two summer ago.
All the pieces are falling into place - almost as if I knew what the heck
I was doing...... LOL
The 90" of snow is rapidly melting and MAYBE this week or next we
will be able to get the boat out of the shop and down to the painter.....
YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!
