February 10, 2009 1:53 PM  They're Here!  They're Here!
Attached are some photo's of the new Express Team Shirt and hat.

Also attached are some pictures of the boat with the cowling sitting on it. I still need to bolt the center cowling rubber holding strap down. I personally think it looks beautiful, but I'm prejudice.

After I get the tie down straps finished, we can put the aluminum bump rails on the gunnels, install the engine, finish attaching the wiring and then FIRE THE ENGINE for the FIRST TIME....... you know what's next - Boogity, Boogity, Boogity!!!

February 07, 2009 12:59 PM    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
This morning we went down to pick up the painted hull (the cowlings as you have seen before came home a week or so ago). It is beautiful - now it isn't perfect and that is not Jason fault. The guy who sanded the deck and thought it did a nice job should update is resume. It falls well within my 30,000' rule and even the 20' rule. I am VERY, VERY happy.

Coming home was uneventful. Lots of spinning necks on people as we drove by...

We received another 2" of heavy snow yesterday, what does that mean - the motorhome got stuck in the back yard. Two neighbors came over and helped dig out the motorhome and get it back in the shop next to the FRESHLY painted hull.

We will let the paint cure a little longer (HARVE, don't TOUCH!!!!!!!!!!!). We will start installing things that don't require me to get on the deck.

You can see how much snow we still have and the motorhome stuck and the ruts after we dug it out.

What do you think??????

February 04, 2009 12:53 PM    Update
Today a major, major milestone was achieved - I was able to get the motorhome out of the shop and NOT get it stuck. Then an even bigger milestone was achieved - I was able to get the trailer out of the shop, down the driveway and out of the back yard. It even cleared all the snow berms in the front yard and cleared the house roof line.

Our boat is now down at the paint shop and Jason will start working on it tomorrow (he is doing his taxes today - doing his share to pay those wall street scalpers........).

Here are a couple of pictures of her down at the paint shop. More will be coming in a week or so.... YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
