August 30, 2008 3:18 PM  Where Ya Been
If you have been wondering what I've been up to. Here are some pictures for ya.

The rear cowling is pretty much repaired and primed (just a little more filling to make it near perfect), the engine cowling has been started, the center carburetor intake hole has a new glass insert, a new MUCH smaller hole will be cut at a later time. I still need to make smaller exhaust pipe covers so that they will be the size they were originally. Also you might be able to see two cracks I repaired at the back edge of the engine cowling.

Once all the fiberglass work is done, I will sand, fill and prime that piece.

The front cowling is also under repair. Cracks will be fixed, holes will be filled and a dash board built after I fill in the cockpit to it's originally dash depth.

How do you like my suit so that I can keep from itching????

Under the blue tarp is the boat trailer, all covered up for the coming winter. I will be able to continue working on the boat, without having the trailer inside and in my way. Speaking of trailers, for those who don't know. I knocked a hole in the gas meter while moving the trailers around. (After a call to 911), we now have a new gas meter and a new tool RIGHT next to the meter so I can shut off the gas MUCH sooner then when I had to RUN and find something to turn off the rushing gas.. Another senior moment......DANG
